Naf-tech combustion enhancer is a South-African product. It is a proprietary mixture of hydrocarbons that reduces the surface tension of the fuel when activated. Targeted activation ensures that Naf-tech will not alter the distinct characteristics of the base fuel before the physical injection of the fuel takes place.

Naf-tech improves fuel vaporisation during injection thereby increasing the burn velocity of the fuel transforming more of the fuel’s potential energy into mechanical energy.

During the month of December 2012 the average saving in diesel consumption calculate to 16,36% against the baseline. At kick-off, NAF-TECH was added to the fuel in the storage tank at a dosage of 0,3% per volume and was reduced, after 4 months, to 0.25% per volume.
